The Dough Trader Pizza Company first opened for business on July 4th 2011 in Spearfish, SD. At the Dough Trader, we are dedicated to serving the best pizza in the Black Hills with attention to detail and service. We strive to deliver an excellent pizza, and a unique and unmatched experience. The Dough Trader is based out of an old Tastee Freeze that was brought to Spearfish by Tom Bell back in the 1950’s and has been in the Bell family since. Remodeled in the spring of 2011 by Kristen Bell, the Dough Trader offers an atmosphere like no other in the area. From our accented lighting in the dining room, to our fire outside on the patio, we know you’ll like what you see at the Dough Trader.
Our dough is made fresh on site using our very own sourdough starter, the same used since the 1880s.
We take pride in doing things the old-fasioned way, stretching each crust by hand and topping it with only the freshest, highest quality ingredients. We also offer an ever-changing list of craft beers and fine wines.
